Program Description: Can U.S. community colleges use strategic connections with emerging economies such as Brazil to foster innovation at home? Brazil is the world’s seventh-largest economy and is predicted to be the world’s fifth-largest consumer market by 2025. The Brazilian government is investing $3 billion in "Science without Borders." This session will introduce opportunities to leverage the power of U.S.-Brazil connections to support innovation in U.S. community colleges. It will also help community college leaders understand what it takes to build an action plan that uses connections with emerging markets as a tool for innovation and opportunity at home.
