Program Description: Business incubation helps entrepreneurs and small-business owners to revitalize and grow the local economy. Virtual incubation at community colleges provides all the same support without the structural costs of a bricks-and-mortar facility. Attendees will gain tangible tools to immediately use or adapt, designed by 11 leading community colleges that tackled virtual incubation and entrepreneurial training in a variety of settings. These colleges are led by the AACC Center for Workforce and Economic Development, the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, the National Business Incubation Association, and the Small Business Administration. The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation funded the project.
