Program Description: Essential steps for effective, successful engagement of developmental education students include intentional advising, a robust student success course, an emphasis on the essentiality of reading to success, and acceleration models. The presenters will share information on how to successfully provide an intentional engagement agenda, review the methodology of bringing to scale a program at a large community college, and share with attendees some of the successes that have become apparent.
