Program Description: Community colleges are challenged as never before: more enrolling students, increased accountability, and decreased funding. With the focus on completion, how can community colleges provide students the tools they need to achieve their goals? This session highlights innovative solutions to address the completion challenge and to improve higher-education productivity, build evidence of what works through rigorous evaluations, and scale-up and disseminate the successful strategies. College leaders at the forefront of the completion challenge describe and the innovative strategies they are using to encourage students to commit to complete. Topics include packaged degree plans and other student incentives to increase completion.
