Program Description: This presentation provides an overview of the 2012 Community College Futures Assembly and showcases the 2012 Bellwether programs. The 2012 Bellwether Awards recognize innovative programs and practices that address the challenges associated with projected workforce demands. Each year, judges evaluate hundreds of applications and select one winner in each of three categories. The Bellwether Awards are presented annually at the Community College Futures Assembly, sponsored by the University of Florida. The 2012 Assembly also featured two panel discussions with leading business and social media innovators. This session discusses and addresses the findings.
