70-006: Make It Personal: College Completion

Monday, April 23, 2012: 4:00 PM-5:00 PM
Grand Ballroom-Salon 6 (Orlando World Center Marriott)

Program Description: Why should you care about your students’ sex lives? You should care because 61% of women who have children while enrolled in community colleges drop out and do not return. Learn from colleges that are involved in a national initiative to improve retention and completion by using curricular interventions to help students avoid unplanned pregnancy and complete their college goals. Receive survey data on student retention as well as replicable curricular materials and innovative online resources.
