Program Description: By 2018, 63% of all jobs in the United States will require at least some postsecondary education. Businesses and community colleges are working together in innovative and cutting-edge partnerships to meet this demand for a skilled workforce. These partnerships take collaboration to new levels of scale that require imagination, innovation, and trust building among willing leaders. This interactive workshop will discuss promising examples currently demonstrated by community colleges and employers and practical steps for engaging in and sustaining partnerships with employers.
