Program Description: Faculty development programs can help or harm. If targeted content is interestingly presented and easily applied, the learner experiences a professional boost, gets a shot of confidence, and finds a few more tricks in the instructional backpack. If the content is predictable, pedantic, or plodding, the learner might gain little and even resent the unpaid investment of personal time. In this situation, the institution and the students lose as well. This hands-on workshop combines participant interactivity with usable templates, checklists, tips, and techniques that can go to work tomorrow.
